Her adopted was rejected eariler this month due to the fact that she(Madonna) didn’t live in Malawi long enough for the adoption to take place, which is the law of Malawi. Though it was widely rumored due to her being a single mother and that Malawi looked down upon that. Though that has not been denied nor confirmed either way if that hold any truth to their decision.

It also has been rumored that she wants to build an orphanage on her land that she owns in Malawi, but also a family home along side with the orphanage, after she got turned down in adoption. She stated that she wanted to live near where they came from, for the kids sake. Though some believe its because she was turned down for not living their long enough.

Madonna has adopted her son David also from Malawi back in 2006, without too many issues. Though she was married at the time of the adopting David from Malawi, unlike now. She was under fire though for adopting a kid already with a family. It was reported that David’s father didn’t know what the word adoption ment and thought it was more like fostering a child instead of adopting. Though Madonna stated that David’s biological father wanted them to adpot instead of financial support that she offered to them as well.

Government authorities was given the singer’s special treatment for skirting laws and it has nonresidents for adopting children from Malawia. One Madonna’s lawyer said outside courtroom, in comments, that singer asked the court for granting her an adoption of 18 months. Local newspaper has quoted Madonna, she said that her friends from Malawia said to her that her son David needs brother or sister.
