Eco-activist and actor Leonardo DiCaprio becamed green on Nickelodeon’s 09 Kids’ Choice Award.

Leonardo became first of ever recipient on Big Green Help Award, that celebrated DiCaprio’s dedication, contribution to green & environmentally-friendly causes.

Leonardo DiCaprio said when he received award, “And she needs a generation of thoughtful, caring and active kids like all of you to protect her for the future. You can help us win the battle to clean up out air, our water, our land to protect our forests,our oceans and our wildlife.”

The award for Favorite Movie was nabbed to “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”, as well Vanessa Hudgens won Favorite Movie Actress. Zac Efron is grateful to fans cause they helped bringing genre back in to the life during an speech for award. “Lately, alot of people have been taking credit for bringing back the musical”, he said. “The truth is we’ve known who’s been responsible for bringing back the musical all along.
