Any other child would have become a notorious criminal if it had to suffer the humiliation that Oprah Winfrey had suffered. She was very much unwelcome into this world as she was born to an unwed teenage mother. She lived in utter poverty with her parents often having to suffer indignation in silence. Humiliation is a mild word for what she had to go through. The small children of her age enjoyed making fun of her dress that was only a gunny sack cut to her size. As a child she also suffered physical abuses from people close to her family. But her courage and wisdom carried her through the pains of life. With the help of her compassionate and understanding father she brought her entire concentration into academics and began showing the world who she was really. Shining through her school days as a brilliant performer she won scholarships and obtained her degree in communication from the Tennessee University.
She joined as a newscaster in a local TV channel and went on to do countless programs on the radio. It was first in the early eighties that she landed into television. Her thirty minute talk show in Chicago stole the heart of millions and she was catapulted into fame. The program was an instant hit and the show was justly named after her. Fame and money poured in alike but the little girl in her who suffered countless humiliations was very much alive. She had stardom now and was easily recognized over the whole of America as a celebrity. Her heart never forgot the millions of poor people and she donated not in thousands but in tens of millions of dollars.
The Oprah winfrey show is massively popular now and she made resonating success in the operations of her own private radio channel. Having attained stardom and celebrity status and all products that she endorsed were sold off as hot cakes. She is sincere in her associations with her fans and the circle keeps widening and all her programs have won the best ratings.
