An American basketball professional player, LeBron Raymone James, plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers team in the National Basketball Association or the NBA. Born in the year 1984, James was selected to be part of the Cavaliers squad just at the age of 18. Nicknamed ‘King James’, James has won numerous awards since he has started playing professional basketball. James got the ‘Rookie of the year’ award in the year 2003 – 04 and was also voted as the runner-up for ‘NBA Most Valuable Player’ in the year 2006. He has also had the distinction of representing the United States of America in two Olympic Games in the year 2004 winning bronze medal and in 2008 winning the gold medal.
Born in Akron, Ohio, James played his first professional game for the Cavaliers against the Sacramento Kings churning out an amazing score of 25 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. James idolizes Jason Kidd for the sheer all round playing abilities and wants to emulate the feats achieved by Kidd. James has been the youngest players in the games history to achieve a triple – double, score 50 points in a game. According to James, despite having lived in Ohio all his life, he is a fan of the Chicago Bulls team in the league.
