The 28 year old Justin Randall Timberlake is a multi faceted personality. Apart from being a successful singer, Justin is also a very well established actor, dancer, record producer and songwriter. He has to his credit won many a Grammy and Emmy awards for his singing and acting talents. Born to Lynn Harless and Randall Timberlake, Justin started his music career in the year 1995, when he joined hands with his long time friend JC Chasez to become lead singers of the band ‘N Sync”.
The group got their first major hit in the US with the album “n Sync” in the year 1998. The album which had popular hit song ‘Tearin up My Heart” became an instant hit all across the world and it sold over 11 million copies. N Sync released their second album in the year 2000, which worked out to be the fastest selling album, selling almost 2.4 million copies worldwide in the first week of release.
Justin was accredited with being a writer and co writer of three major single hit songs from their third album “Celebrity”, which incidentally became the second fastest selling album. Justin’s acting career started in the year 1999, with the movie ‘Model Behavior’, in which in played the character of a model.
Justin released his first solo album in the year 2002, titled ‘justified’, which debuted on the Billboard charts at number 2. The album had a song titled ‘I am Lovin it’, which was later on adopted by McDonalds Inc. for their “I’m Lovin it” advertising campaign. Justin acted in several movies apart from doing a voice over for ‘Prince Artie Pendragon’ in the animation movie ‘Shrek: the third’.
In the year 2006, Justin released his second solo album, “Future Sex/ Love Sounds’ which debuted on the billboard album charts on number one position. The album has been one of the biggest pre order album for iTunes and has to its credit the most single week sales of a digital album. Justin’s song from the album; “Sexy Back” was on the first position for seven consecutive weeks on the Billboard charts.
Justin has also collaborated with superstar Madonna, and both have sung a duet for the latter’s album called ‘Hard Candy’. Infact, apart from singing the duet, Justin has also writing and produced four other songs from the album. The song called ‘4 minutes’ has been on the number one spot in almost all the charts across the world. Justin has also partnered with Duran Duran and 50 cent and contributed in providing vocals, writing or production support for the singles of their albums.
Justin has also hosted a number of shows and events, like European MTV Music Awards and Saturday Night Live shows. Apart from his singing and acting career, Justin also has a number of other business interests which include a chain of restaurants, a clothing line and a brand of tequila.
In his personal life, he has been believed to have some very high profile linkup with celebrities like Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel etc.
