Jennifer Aniston, full name Jennifer Joanna Aniston, a Hollywood actress apart from other roles is more famous for her role of Rachel Green in the popular television series ‘Friends’. The television series had a cult following and has played a major role in establishing Jennifer as a household name. She has won an Emmy, Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award for performing the role of Rachel Green in the ever popular TV series.
Born to actor parents John Aniston and Nancy Dow, Jennifer has a mixed background. Father John is a Greek American, while mother Nancy has an Italian – Scottish descent. During her struggling years Jennifer had to do part time jobs such as a bike messenger or a telemarketer to support herself. Apart from her much publicized role in the television series Friends, Jennifer has done lot of other movies as well. In her earlier stardom years she was dating Charlie Schlatter, post which she was believed to be in a relationship with Daniel MacDonald, with who everything ended when she was casted for her role in Friends. Although Jennifer was believed to be engaged with actor Tate Donovan at one point of time, but her most high profile relationship was with actor Brad Pitt. The couple got married and there was never a moment in their life when they were not in the eyes of the media or the general public, with each and every single move of their being scrutinized. However, the couple got separated in the year 2005.
Jennifer has been involved closely with many charitable foundations. She is also a close associate of the Friends of El Faro, a non profit organization which helps in raising money for an orphanage in Mexico. She is also very actively involved with fight against cancer campaign and has done many a performance in support of that cause.
