The self-dubbed king of All Media has proved his excellence in attracting millions of fans across the airwaves. As we think of Howard Stern, suddenly we will remember his as a morning radio show pioneer. He was introduced in the radio trade in the earlier age as he went to work with his father in the recording studio.
Howard Stern was born in January 12, 1954 in New York and named as Howard Allen Stern. He did his bachelor’s degree in communications from Boston University. He married Alison who was his college mate.
His first morning show performance was in Hartford at WCCC, and then he worked for WNBC Radio in Washington. Together with his radio career, he engaged himself in inventing his individual fashion of amusing the listeners. Howard Stern’s sincerity and inclinations for sexual content made for a motivating and Federal Communication Commission (FCC) a well suggested mode. He initially signed the project with the contribution of six thousand dollars and now after the completion of 16 years he has reached nearly 3.5 million dollars earnings.
Stern has many faces as a Radio Host, Author, and Producer. Stern dubbed himself the “King of All Media” later than his success in running television shows and he also wrote a book, called Private Parts and this was produced as a movie under the direction of Betty Thomas. Another film that crowned in his career is Ryder P.I. by Ben Wash. These films made Stern to progress in his popularity and obtained many awards. The short-run FX comedy named ‘Son of the Beach’ in 2000 has been produced by Stern. The evidence of Stern’s devotion as a broadcaster was known to all as he stayed on the air through out the attacks.
Despite of all his guests and enviers Stern as well achieved huge fans which moved his career from terrestrial to satellite radio in 2005. He always fights censorship all through his career. Stern’s foremost censor-free show was aired on channels Sirus 100 & 101, which was done on a contract basis of 500 million dollar for five years. His show of Miss Howard Stern New Year’ Eve Pageant made a record in gaining 40 million dollar for non-sports pay-per-view programming.
Howard was also nominated for Governor of New York, but dropped down for various reasons. He often gets criticism from the public and even from his wife Alison as a sexually frustrated married man. Later he announced that he and his wife is splitting. He then married his girl friend Beth Ostrosky.
Stern underwent a plastic surgery on his nose and chin to enhance his appearance. He has three daughters Deborah, Emily and Ashley born to his ex-wife Alison. His on-air entourage comprised Norris, Jackie Martling, John Melemdez and only one female Robin Quivers. He called his revolving group of characters as The Wack Pack which includes many actors.
Howard Stern’s dedication and regularity has always gifted his life with full of opportunities and success even though he is disputed by many he overcame all his failures as stepping stones in his life and now he is one of the top most celebrities list.
