Fernando Alonso a Formula One racing driver was born on July 29, 1981 in Spain to a father, who is a go-kart driver and naturally Fernando was passionate by his father. He just started to kart at the age of three and thought of it just to be a game. His father noticed his aptitude for racing and he prepared him for competitions.
Fernando started his career as victorious junior kart leagues and from there he also graduated to concentrate in racing as IAME a popular world karting name and he continued to race and won the Spanish Championship in 1994, then he started traveling for race all over Europe competing in ultra-competitive kart leagues. After many of his victories he was named as the World Junior Karting champion.
Following his success, it was Adrian Campos who had observed Alonso’s potent and gave him an opportunity to graduate in Formula one racing. Then he made his debut with Minardi at the 2001 Australian Grand Prix and Alonso was qualified for his best performance. Then he moved on the Renault team in 2002 and he became the youngest driver to achieve a Formula One pole position at the 2003 Malaysian Grand Prix.
Being a successive racer Alonso recorded seven race wins and concealed Emerson Fittipaldi’s longstanding record as the Spaniard he became the youngest ever Formula One World Champion. It was really a golden period for him who made best of his ultra competitive R25 package and made the victory by winning 21 points.
His extreme victories made McLaren Mercedes made an announcement that they had signed Alonso up for 2007 and more. Here too Alonso commenced his winning circumstances and soon became a nightmare.

Alonso after ending his season with Mclaren returned to Renault in 2008 and in the initial races he was not able to score high but after his progressions he was able to prove himself through the inaugural Singapore race that offered him a series of victories and he doubled up in Japan by defeating BMW’s. This finale crowned him as a fifth in the drivers championship.
Alonso has one sister named Lorena who is in medical profession. His spouse is Raquel del Rosario a leading singer of Spanish pop band. Apart from racing he is also interested in other sports like cycling, football and tennis.
All through the campaign it would highlight again in the Great Prize of Hungary, where he prevailed with authority and crowned in highest of formula one removing 26.6 seconds emphasize and he won this record in the age of 22. His victories include the youngest back-to-back driver in Formula One records. Alonso is the second youngest formula one driver to win a Grand Prix and take a Pole Position. He also received the Prince of Asturias Award for Sports in 2005.
