Cameron Diaz was born in the year 1972 to parents Billie and Emilio Diaz who had multi cultural backgrounds. Billie, an export import agent by profession was a second generation Cuban American and her mother Emilio, who worked as a field gauger in an oil company for twenty years had English and German ancestry.
Cameron was attracted to or started working in the glamour world at an early age of 16, when she was signed by the modeling agency Elite. During her modeling years she worked with all the major companies and famous designer labels. She has also been a face for top brands like Calvin Klein and Levis for a long time.
Cameron started acting at the age of 21, when she won the lead actress role for the movie, The Mask. Post the release of the Mask, Cameron who was a complete novice in the field of acting, was a part of certain low budget films while still perfecting her acting skills. On her personal front, Cameron is believed to have a very peculiar habit of using her elbows to open the doors instead of using her hands. She is also believed to clean her hands and floor numerous times in a day. Cameron has had a number of relationships with various celebrities with the most famous ones being the one with actor Matt Dillon, Actor/ musician Jared Leto and Singer Justin Timberlake. Cameron’s relationship with Justin Timberlake was very much publicized and was always under the ever scrutinizing eyes of the media. There had been incidents reported and pictured of the couple having an altercation with photographers who had taken their pictures while getting out of a hotel.
